Mustaches & Interviews

I believe we've discussed facial hair before here.

Much to trent's dismay, I will not be dissuaded-mustaches are just cuter on kids than they are on husbands  ( :   Kale smoothie mustaches, especially. The kids wanted the moment documented:

In Charlotte's Web today we read about how Dr Dorian asked about Fern's "interests". I interviewed my kids about their interests.

What is your favorite interest?
taiter:  "Legos. Eating. And probably reading new chapter books. Playing with babies." (I'm reading to him. He's not reading yet. Still working on identifying letters & sounds. And yes, he is really good with babies, loves to play games with them!)
indigogirl: "I like to eat food."  Me: "ok, what else?"  indi: "Hey, can I have a snack? I am really really really hungry!"  (We didn't get much further than that. She really does like to eat & wouldn't quit talking about food)

I like that the kale makes it look like tait is missing a tooth here ( :  A missing tooth would contribute to his longed-for pirate persona, but i'm thankful they are all still (presently) intact. And yeah, I know his hair looks a little funny in the front. I'll explain later.

Olive's interests are playing with her sibs, standing & holding onto things, the printer, cheerios & finger food. I started calling her ginger because of her red hair, which turned into gingerbread, which turned into redhead-gingerbread. So, I guess one of my interests is giving my kids nicknames    ( :
