She was 8lb 6oz & looked like Gma Pat
We didn't know the gender but both thought it would be a boy, so it was shocking to hear "it's a girl!". It actually took me a couple days to wrap my head around another girl : )
Our mothers were the only ones who knew the gender-they got sealed envelopes from the ultrasound tech-so my Mom made her a blanket & Trent's mom got some adorable clothes. This was a really fun way to not know the gender!
It felt so late & I felt so tired! I kind of regret getting an epidural this time, since things progressed pretty quickly, but it really made for cheerier pictures for sure ; )
dad & mom brought our kiddos for a quick visit to their new sister. they looked so big & rowdy!
Vanessa did such a great job on a little photoshoot the next day!

Several have asked about the meaning of her name...We call her Olive & maybe Livi or Livliv in the future. Her name is for the olive branch, symbol of peace, and her middle name a reminder of the true peace we look forward to in Christ.
I'm not wanting to share my kids' given names on our blog anymore, so you'll be seeing lots of nicknames from now on! I figure most of my readers know what we named our little peace girl : )
...and we are so so thankful.
